Discharge rollers come with three different coatings:
- Silicone sleeve, for rollers combined with aluminium or stainless coated electrodes, mainly used in corona treatments for extrusion and printing applications
- Vulcanized silicone for extrusion coating, converting and cast film applications
- Conductive ceramics, used in combination with ceramic electrodes for printing and converting applications
Depending on the type of substrate to be processed, Ferrarini & Benelli chooses the coating that optimizes corona discharge uniformity, ensuring roller durability and minimizing machine downtime.
In addition to supplying new rollers complete with coating, Ferrarini & Benelli also offers the service of roller vulcanization or roller coating curing, which increases the durability of the component.
