Plast Eurasia
From November 22nd to 25th, we participated in the most important event in Turkey for the plastics sector.
We presented our Bikappa Rotary corona treatment systems for blown film extruders and flexo printing lines for extrusion and printing applications and Polimetal, the corona treater for flexo and gravure printing lines.
Fakuma
We presented our range of plasma treatment solutions at Fakuma from October 17th to 21st: In Air Plasma, In Air Plasma Plus and In Air Plasma Spark. (Virtual showroom)
Plast
At Plast in Milan we exhibited our Bikappa Rotary and Poliplast treaters and the Evo Smart Generator connected to the FB Cloud platform to enable remote technical support and diagnostics in the field of corona treatment.
We exhibited our whole product range in the field of plasma treatment: In Air Plasma, In Air Plasma Plus and In Air Plasma Spark.
Mecspe
We participated in Mecspe from March 29th to 31st to inform about our plasma treatment, which is useful in bonding, printing, painting, coating, insulating, labeling and cleaning operations on plastic and metal surfaces.
The system is adjustable: with one, two, three or four dispensing nozzles for treating surfaces from 10 mm up to a maximum of 40 mm. To treat larger surfaces, up to 70 mm, In Air Plasma is equipped with nozzles with enhanced features.
2022
K 2022
We presented the Evo Smart generator, Bikappa Rotary and Polimetal corona treaters at the Dusseldorf plastics and rubber exhibition.
As plasma treatment, we exhibited solutions for printing, laminating, and cleaning and for coding, marking, and labeling. The two characters representing Corona and Plasma treatments were animating the booth.
MECSPE
From June 9th to 11th we participated in Mecspe, an event dedicated to the manufacturing industry. We presented In Air Plasma, the plasma treatment system under atmospheric pressure, which improves adhesion on small plastic surfaces and performs cleaning of metal surfaces. The system consists of a high-performance generator connected to one or two nozzoles via shielded cable. The single nozzle allows 10 mm to be treated. In Air Plasma requires limited maintenance and integrates seamlessly into customers' production lines, without requiring complex maintenance operations.
PRINT4ALL
From May 3rd to the 6th, Ferrarini & Benelli presented its main printing and converting solutions at the Print4All exhibition in Milan. Visitors particularly appreciated the Polimetal universal treatment system, suitable for all converting applications. Available in four models, all with a two-sided version, the Polimetal system allows easy film threading, accessibility to all internal components and simple air-gap adjustment. Moreover, the ET 98 narrow-web label treatment system was exhibited, with a compact design compatible with a wide range of technologies: UV flexographic, water- or solvent-based, gravure and offset printing.
2021
Virtual Drupa
Due to live events being cancelled, the Drupa team set up a virtual version of this relevant event. 212 exhibitors from 35 countries exhibited their products digitally, taking advantage of a virtual showroom and a matchmaking function, which allowed Ferrarini & Benelli to interact with users from all over the world through videos, chats and virtual meetings.
Polimetal stood out among the solutions displayed: this universal treatment system, suitable for all converting applications, can treat plastic and metallised films, aluminium foil and paper and it is marked by great production flexibility. The hood of the system allows for easy film threading, also facilitating routine maintenance and cleaning operations, as well as air-gap adjustment and electrode removal.
Equiplast
Ferrarini & Benelli participated in Equiplast, the event dedicated to the field of rubber and plastics taking place in Barcelona. We presented the technical features and main advantages of our range of multi-discharge electrodes, which ensure excellent thermal stability and a consistent air-gap along the entire treatment width. The aluminium and stainless steel electrodes are available in sectors of variable lenghts to allow zone corona treatment and adapt to the width of the film. We also exhibited our range of discharge rollers: in addition to rollers coated with calibrated silicone sleeve or vulcanised rollers, we presented our rollers coated with a special conductive ceramic material.
Interplas
Our solutions for blown extrusion and flexo printing were displayed to the 12.400 visitors who attended the 2021 edition of Interplas, the leading plastics industry event in the UK.
2019
Labelexpo Europe
Ferrarini & Benelli presented the ET98 corona treatment station at Labelexpo Europe (Brussels, 24 - 27 September), mainly used in the label sector and for narrow web film. Ceramic electrodes enable the treatment of all types of plastic, metal and aluminium materials. The easy cartridge opening system facilitates threading of the film and disassembly of electrodes for quick maintenance. The digital control system has an easy and intuitive multilingual communication display. Also available with remote control.
INFOFLEX
We attended the 37th edition of InfloFLEX fair (6 - 7 May 2019) in New Orleans, USA. We presented our corona treatment unit used in the labels sector.
ICE Europe
Ferrarini & Benelli showcased at the 11th edition of ICE Europe in Munich (March, 12 - 14) the biennial show dedicated to converting and flexible packaging. We proposed the Polimetal corona treatment and the brand new AT narrow web corona treatment station for adhesive tapes or plastic films.
2018
Plast
In our Stand - Plast exhibition section dedicated to the plastic and rubber industry - we met a larger number of operators compared to the 2015 edition (+10%). We esposed:
- POLIMETAL high-performance universal corona treatment line equipped with special electrodes and ceramic rollers
- BIKAPPA ROTARY double-sided corona treatment line with aluminium multipoint electrodes or with stainless steel coating
- In Air Plasma and In Air Corona to treat three-dimensional objects or small surfaces
- The new line of EVO generators with touch screen control panel.

Bondexpo
At Bondexpo exhibition (Stuttgart, 8-11 October) hall 6 stand 6526 we esposed: In Air Plasma e In Air Plasma Spark.
InfoFLEX
InfoFLEX 2018, taking place May 7-8 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, is the event where the worlds of package printing and converting technologies successfully intertwine. We participated with USA agent Grafikontrol NA to present surface corona treaters for printing and converting and for narrow webs and labels.
2017
Equiplast
We exhibited at Equiplast (Stand F663) the corona treatment unit Bikappa Rotary (particularly suitable for mounting on high-performance blown film extruders or on flexographic presses in line with extruders).
The Bikappa Rotary we exhibited during the show has been sold to customer Plascan (Gran Canaria) producer of HDPE, LDPE flexible packaging that was very satisfied about our innovation in the generator and treating unit.
The Evo Line generators are equipped with integrated digital control system that can attain the high power level needed to treat the most difficult plastic materials at maximum line speed. The new generators feature a greater level of technological innovation. The wide range of available power levels permits a variety of corona treatment applications such as extrusion, extrusion coating, printing and laminating.
LabelExpo
We exhibited at LabelExpo (Stand 4B37) ET98 for the treatment of labels before printing. Narrow web treating units are matched with single phase iGBT technology generators.
Info Flex
On 1st and 2nd of May 2017 we exhibited in Phoenix Convention Center - Phoenix, AZ at Info flex 2017. Narrow web treatment stations for the treatment of labels before printing and our 2 solutions to quickly check if a surface has been Corona treated or not (Dyne Test Pen and Corona Marker).
2016
K 2016
Ferrarini & Benelli has joined the German tri-annual exhibition K2016 in Düsseldorf (19 - 26 October 2016) dedicated to raw materials producers, plastic and rubber machinery manufacturers and converting companies. All the new technologies received much attention: the new heads for ever more efficient Plasma treatment and the EVO generators with touch screen display, available also with remote panel with Wi-Fi connection.
Drupa
Positive results of Ferrarini & Benelli’s participation: tripled visits at the booth compared to the previous edition: POLIMETAL for single and double-sided treatment of both conductive and non-conductive materials:with electrodes and ceramic rollers (up to 600 m/min). BIKAPPA POLIMETAL It has been installed during the Drupa on a roll-to-sheet laminating line for treating the film once laminated.
Labelexpo Europe
At Labelexpo Europe (Bruxelles, 29th September – 2nd October 2015), we showcased innovative solutions for Corona treatment for labels made of plastic and conductive materials. ET 98 with single phase generator GTS MX (available in two options: stand alone model with IP43-grade protection or integrated model with IP20-grade protection).
